The Magic Kingdom was the first theme park at Walt Disney World, opened in 1971. All Disney World theme parks are open 365 days a year, although opening and closing times for each park are different from day to day. If you are travelling without kids, try to visit on a school day to avoid the largest crowds. If you need to visit during a school vacation, try at least to avoid the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day and the Fourth of July.
If you are not staying at a Disney World hotel, avoid visiting the Magic Kingdom on its Extra Magic Hours days. The hotel guests get into the park early on those days, increasing wait times for visitors who arrive at the normal opening time.
Buy your Walt Disney World tickets online at Disney World’s website. There will be some advice on picking the right ticket. See the guide to Disney World tickets. You will also need to call in advance to make lunch or dinner reservations (
预定). Disney accepts reservations, through 1-407-WDW-DINE, up to 180 days in advance. Times do go quickly, so you should call six months before your trip to get a lunch reservation in the castle. We suggest you should have your lunch at Cinderella’s Royal Table for your tour. If you can’t get to Cindy’s on time, ask for the Liberty Tree Tavern instead.
Keep in mind that to reach the Magic Kingdom, you must park at Disney World’s Transportation and Ticket Center parking lot (TTC), ride at tram (

Working out regularly is one of the best ways to keep your body in good condition, but working out with an empty stomach —or worse, a stomach full of junk food —can lead to less ideal results. Feed your body regularly with the following super foods to provide the ideal nutrients and see the biggest rewards!
     Yogurt (
酸奶) is a well-known source of calcium(钙)and can keep your bones healthy, but did you know that calcium also plays a role in muscle development? If you’re feeling tired easily during your workout, consider looking at the calcium in your body to see if you are meeting the recommended levels. If not, try adding some yogurt to your breakfast, lunch, or snack. Rich in Vitamin B-12, this super food can also help prevent tiredness.
Blueberries are full of nutrients and is the star of the show when it comes to antioxidant properties (
抗氧化性能). Antioxidants can help prevent free radicals(自由基)being produced during hard activity. The nutrients in blueberries can also help you maintain a healthy blood pressure. This super food contains Vitamin C to support your immune system, and is an excellent source of energy.
Sweet potatoes may not be your typical vegetable of choice for dinner. However, you might want to start liking this super food after you hear what they offer. Sweet potatoes contain more of the antioxidant beta carotene (β-
胡萝卜素)than any other fruit or vegetable. They are also a source of Vitamin C and one of the only fat-free sources of Vitamin E. Of course, Vitamins C and E both have antioxidant properties and aid in muscle recovery. Last, but not least, sweet potatoes are an excellent source of iron, which is important in oxygen production for athletes during a workout.

Directions: Read the following passage. Complete the diagram by using the information from the passage. Write NO MORE THAN 3 WORDS for each answer.

When you go to Japan or get in touch with Japanese people, you will find that the Japanese people pay much attention to telephone numbers as well as to the numbers in daily life. Since lucky numbers are connected with something nice, people can remember them very easily. So they have been used as advertisements for the shops.

They like to use different telephone numbers in different places. The owners of bathrooms, for example, like to use 4626, because when it is read in Japanese, it has the same pronunciation as “have a good bath”. Both the cloth shops and the butcher’s like to use 4129 better than any other number because this number can either be read as “good dress” or “good meat”.

On the other hand, there are also telephone numbers which are regarded as forbidden by the Japanese people. 1567, for example, has the sound of “kill people”, while 4219 has that of “people die”. It is said some people had bad luck when they used telephone numbers like that, so all the people don’t use them.

At present, there are about 44,000,000 telephones in Japan, yet it is almost impossible for everyone to have a lucky number. So these numbers have become commodities (商品期货) and can be sold as goods, of which the price can reach as high as 222,000 Japanese yean.

书表:It is important to deal with the rubbish in our school. Rubbish must be treated properly, otherwise it will cause a lot of problems. It may pollute the air and water. When people breathe the polluted air or drink the polluted water, they may get ill.

Our school has begun to pay attention to the problem. As far as I know, some rubbish is sorted and sent to different places. Rubbish, such as old newspapers and glass, is recycled. Some harmful rubbish is sent to a certain place and buried. Waste air is cleaned before it goes into the air. Waste water is treated before it is poured into rivers.

To protect the environment, the government has passed laws to prevent people from throwing rubbish everywhere as well as making people aware of the importance of environment protection. We should do our best to take good care of the environment and fight against pollution.
